Comfortear® Punctum Plugs
Comfortear® Punctum Plugs present a solution to the most common complaint about punctum plugs: many traditional plugs “pop-out” after being deformed or collapsed during insertion. The design of Comfortear® Punctum Plugs aims to solve this structural issue by incorporating patented Micro-Beam Technology™ and Micro-Recesses. These features effectively reduce or eliminate structural damage during insertion and provide for easy and certain placement, creating a plug that offers exceptional retention and comfort.
Our punctum plugs are made from 100% liquid silicone rubber and come in two forms: sterile preloaded and non-sterile bulk.
Comfortear® sterile preloaded plugs are pre-secured to the specially designed insertion tool and each is placed in its own tray. Two trays are packed per box.
Comfortear® non-sterile bulk plugs come in an economical package of 20 individual plugs per poly bag.
There are five different sizes:
Large - 0.9mm diameter
Medium - 0.8mm diameter
Small - 0.7mm diameter
X-Small - 0.6mm diameter
Pedi Plug - 0.5mm diameter
